Below is the waveform that we are currently using to drive our prototype display.
The address period selects each row and data is applied to the column according to image data. One by one, each row is selected until all the rows have been addressed. The illumination period applies driving pulses to illuminate the display. Each edge of the driving pulse produces a pulse of light. Then number of driving pulses in the illumination period determines the brightness of the subfield.
The reset period utilizes a chamfered ramp to trigger a weak discharge to reset the cell.
